I have a busy, time consuming job as an Account Manager, but love animals and have always had cats as pets (one of whom I adopted from Wirral Animal Sanctuary!). When The Hog Centre opened back in January 2017 I saw the recruitment posts on Facebook and decided to volunteer. I love helping with the fundraising events at weekends, it's so much fun meeting the public and telling them more about what we do. I recently completed the Hedgehog First Aid course at the Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre and look forward to helping out with the longer hours at the Hog Centre over the summer months this year.
